A Company-Specific Valuation Point Estimate
The BVM Level 2 Report provides a precise company valuation by positioning the Target Company relative to the L1 benchmark range — within, above, or below. The Report delivers detailed analysis of each comparable company and the Target Company across four analytical dimensions, scored and documented. The result is a company-specific pre-money point estimate grounded in documented comparable VC transactions — not models or projections.

Prerequisite Required:
Level 2 requires a complete BVM Level 1 (sold separately). Level 1 establishes the comparable companies benchmark that Level 2 builds upon directly.
The Four-Dimension Analytical Matrix — P1 to P4
Each comparable company and your company are scored across four pillars, with sector-adjusted weighting relevance applied to each engagement:
- ✓ P1 — Product-Positioning. Market identification, opportunity window status, offering differentiation, business model, and pricing. Scored against the comparable group to establish relative product-market fit, and why.
- ✓ P2 — Team-Execution. Key role coverage, individual track records, board composition, advisor network, team completeness for the current stage, and execution narrative coherence. Scored conservatively, reflecting the inherent uncertainty in team quality indicators.
- ✓ P3 — Traction-Milestones. Achieved milestones mapped against a standardized sector-specific progression path. Scores are stage-normalized — reflecting credible progress at the equivalent stage, not absolute advancement.
- ✓ P4 — Moat-IP. Patents granted and pending, citation counts, inventor count, assignee structure, designs, trademarks, trade secret likelihood, and proprietary data assets. Quantitative measurement only — no qualitative assessment.
Depth of Analysis. Each comparable company receives approximately 5 pages of detailed individual analysis documented in: company profile, P1-P4 dimension scoring both At Stage and Actual Time, sourced analytical narrative, and scoring rationale with confidence tagging. This produces a fully traceable, audit-ready record for each comparable.
At Stage / Actual Time. Each comparable company is assessed at two points in time. At Stage is the company's position when it was at the equivalent development stage as your company — the operative scoring input for the valuation calculation. Actual Time is the company's current position, which provides trajectory context and anchoring backward inference. This dual temporal structure ensures the benchmark reflects comparable companies at equivalent maturity, not their current advanced position.
